The deadline for entering the SCF awards has been extended by a few days until 13th October. The awards attract entries from across the world, all eager to be recognised for their SCF implementation. They are designed to promote innovation and encourage the use of SCF to optimise working capital while supporting the supply chain.
Last year’s overall winner urged corporates to put themselves forward for the awards. Graeme Reynolds, finance decision support manager SCM and VPC finance who led the winning Vodafone team, said, “We were delighted to win the inaugural Gold Award at the 2016 Supply Chain Finance Awards. This was great recognition for all the hard work by our project team – including members from both Vodafone and also from our specialist business partners.
“More importantly, it has helped to generate increased awareness and increased interest from our supplier base, enabling us to enrol significantly more suppliers during 2017.”
