With over 200 delegates from 15 countries, including 100 corporate treasurers and procurement directors networking with 30 speakers, the fourth annual SCF Forum is shaping up to be the best ever so far.
The event is being held in Beurs van Berlage in central Amsterdam on Thursday 8th December 2016 and includes the inaugural SCF Awards dinner.
The 30 expert speakers include Vodafone’s Graeme Reynolds who will focus on the importance of SCF, and particularly vendor financing, in achieving commercial objectives.
The forum will also hear from Lufthansa’s head of supply chain finance, Alexander Pawellek. From inception to implementation, Pawellek will describe the journey taken by Lufthansa when it created its new SCF programme. This session will detail the types of programmes available today, the selection criteria defined by Lufthansa and the subsequent RFP process, ending with the implementation of the programme and the challenges faced along the way.
SCF will be brought to life with case studies from Puma’s Frank Wächter who will speak about the positive impact SCF can have on environmental and social issues.
The event will also hear from Curtis Dionne, programme manager at Swedish engineering group SKF, who will discuss how to sustain SCF programmes and from Martijn van Steenpaal of Darling Ingredients International who will further expand on the topic with other SCF leaders from Heineken, Philips and German manufacturer Wilo.
The SCF Forum and Awards bring Europe’s leading treasurers and procurement directors, banks, technology vendors and academics together to learn from each other and discuss the future of supply chain finance. Now in its fourth year, SCF Forum has grown to become Europe’s leading supply chain finance event.
