Teams of students from all over the world can now test their supply chain management skills by entering The Fresh Connection APICS Global Student Challenge. This is the fourth edition of the worldwide competition that tests university students’ ability to make the best strategic and tactical value chain decisions to save a virtual company from financial ruin.

The top teams will win a trip to San Antonio, Texas, and up to $5,000 in total prizes.

Qualification rounds started in mid-November and run until April 2017. The teams that score the highest return on investment (ROI) in their region will progress to the national rounds. The best-scoring team from each continent will then be selected to go to TFC Global Student Final.

The Global Student Challenge allows students to pit their wits in the online simulation The Fresh Connection. More than 15,000 professionals in 600 companies across the world have experienced The Fresh Connection since its launch in 2008.
