Supply chain finance and e-invoice platform provider Taulia has raised $20m in an equity offering, according to a US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing seen by SCFBriefing. The Form D return filed by Taulia at the end of September indicated that the total amount of equity on offer was $33.3m, with $13.3m of that remaining to be sold.

The filing, which companies must submit within 15 days of the first sale of a tranche of securities to an investor, does not say who the investors are nor what the purpose of the equity issue is. Taulia announced in December 2015 that it had raised at least $38.5m in a mixed equity offering of preferred and common stock.

In July, Taulia unveiled a new SCF platform called Polaris that uses artificial intelligence to help buyers and sellers optimise payment times.
