The 2019 SCF Awards (www.scfawards.com), which recognise excellence in supply chain finance, open for entries this week. Since they launched in 2016, the SCF Awards have become the ‘gold standard’ for supply chain finance programmes that are well structured and deliver clear business success.

The awards are judged by an independent jury chaired by Prof. Michiel Steeman, professor of supply chain finance at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and Prof. Dr. Michael Henke, Chair of Enterprise Logistics at TU Dortmund University. Corporate treasurers and procurement leaders who have previously won SCF Awards make up the rest of the judging panel.

“The SCF Awards give us an opportunity, once a year, to highlight the most innovative and effective supply chain finance solutions that are out there”, said Henke.

As in previous years, the 2019 SCF Awards will be presented during SCF Forum Europe, the world’s largest supply chain finance event for corporates. The Forum will take place on 28th November at the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.

Previous Gold winners have included Vodafone, Metso Group and Siemens, while category winners cover a wide range of companies from as far afield as China, the United States, Europe and Africa.

Any company with a supply chain finance programme in place can enter the awards at www.scfawards.com/enter. There is no charge to enter.
