Bernhard Weiskirch of Siemens is to present Siemens’ supply chain finance success story at SCF Forum Asia in Singapore on 23rd May. Siemens won the gold award at last year’s SCF Awards, and this will be the first time since then that the Siemens story has been presented in public.
Siemens’ SCF programme was described by the awards judges as “A very successful programme with a solid track record and an impressive number of suppliers onboarded”. Weiskirch’s presentation will cover the recent history, current status and likely future for the company’s early payment facility, which is made available to companies with spend volume as small as €100,000.
Siemens is one of many corporates speaking at SCF Forum Asia, with others including Halcyon, Nestle, Michelin and Rio Tinto, as well as providers such as DBS, Taulia, Orbian and Kyriba. The moderator for the day will be Michiel Steeman, executive director of the Supply Chain Finance Community.
“It really is a great lineup of speakers this year,” said Mike Hewitt, managing director of event organiser Adaugeo Media, which manages the conference for the Supply Chain Finance Community. “We’ve added more workshops and breakout sessions so we can include even more of the learning opportunities we know our corporate treasurer and procurement attendees value so much.”
